Sterling Silver Spiral Pearl Earring

According to ancient records, the oldest pearl was worn by a Persian queen in 4300 BC, just one of the reasons for our love affair with pearls.  The other of course is their connections with the sea.. born of sand, sea and the churning of the tides.  Pearls are believed to attract wealth and luck as well as offer protection. The pearl is also said to symbolize the purity, generosity, integrity, and loyalty of its wearer.

Sterling Silver Spiral + Pearl Dangle is hand fabricated using the old world technique of lost wax casting. We’ve taken wax,  hand-formed it around a nautilus from our collections of fossils and paired it with a beautiful pearl.  Each piece reveals the hand of the maker, with its curves, crevices and dips that remind us of the beauty found only in hand made.
