Caring for your purchase(s) is simple

To help keep your jewelry looking like new we recommend cleaning with warm water, a mild soap and a soft cloth, just make sure to rinse and dry your piece well after cleaning. Another way is to make thin paste made with baking soda and water, then just use your fingers to lightly rub over the surface, this will bring back a nice shine to the areas that were highlighted upon purchase. A very soft bristled toothbrush can also be used to gently clean away any debris from around and under gemstones and found objects. Harsh cleaners and chemicals should be avoided as well as jewelry cloths and ultrasonic cleaners due to the different surface patina’s that we use on most of our pieces. We recommend avoiding contact with abrasives and harsh solvents as they may also remove the patina. And don’t forget to remove all jewelry while enjoying hot tubs and chlorinated swimmings pools.

Bronze has a tendency to naturally patina over time, one of the reasons we love working with this material, as each piece develops its own unique character. If you prefer to keep a nice shiny golden color, storing your piece in an airtight ziplock bag can help and to clean use a gentle brass/bronze cleaner like Brasso or even ketchup will get the job done in a pinch, just let the ketchup sit on the piece for 30 minutes then wash and dry your piece.

A patina (liver of sulfur) has been applied to many of our silver jewelry collections to enhance the beautiful surface layers and textures we’ve created. Over time (dependent on the individual piece and its wear) the surfaces can change, producing more unique surface patinas. If at any point you would like your piece re-patinated we’d be happy to do so. Please contact us here for more information.
